Ceilidh at Stirling Highland Hotel on Coronation day for the 154 Medical Squadron, a branch of the Territorial Army.
154 Med Sqdn will be closing down at the end of this year, after almost 20 years of service to the Crown. So they decided to celebrate with a ceilidh at Stirling, and engaged the Loudon Ceilidh Band to provide the music.
There were some moving after-dinner speeches from officers past and present, paying tribute to the efforts and achievements of the squadron over the years, as well as acknowledging the accession of King Charles III.
After the speeches they all got down to some wild ceilidh dancing and the end of the night came too soon for all of us.
