Ceilidh at the Hilton Hotel, Glasgow on 27th January 2023.
This was a ceilidh dinner dance for Afghan people recently, relocated to Glasgow. The ceilidh took place at the Hilton Hotel in Glasgow for these refugees to integrate with other Afghans who have been living in Glasgow for some time. Everyone had a go at the ceilidh dancing and they also danced to their own native music later in the evening.
The Afghans turned out to be interesting, charming people who greatly appreciated the Loudon Ceilidh Band’s Scottish dance music. We wish them all the best for their future in Glasgow.
